三哥是猛男，他驾着马车在湿地里奔驰，惊起野鸭一片，那四匹马奋蹄奔腾，如同他的舞伴。草深处，三哥燃起一堆烈火，猛虎受惊，正想夺路逃窜，他甩掉衣衫，赤膊向前，拳脚齐出，老虎一阵悲鸣便命丧黄泉。他要把它献给王侯，因为三哥是国家的好儿男。三哥哟，以后可别这么干，要是让老虎咬伤了，妹妹我可怎么办？

乘乘马。
执辔如组，
两骖如舞。
叔在薮，
火烈具举。
襢裼暴虎，
献于公所。
将叔勿狃，
戒其伤女。
叔于田，
乘乘黄。
两服上襄，
两骖雁行。
叔在薮，
火烈具扬。
叔善射忌，
又良御忌。
抑磬控忌，
抑纵送忌。

乘乘鸨。
两服齐首，
两骖如手。

叔马慢忌，
叔发罕忌，

抑鬯弓忌。
乘（chéng）乘（shèng）：前一乘为动词，后为名词。一车四马叫一乘。组：织带平行排列的经线。骖（cān）：外侧两边的马。薮（sou3）：沼泽地。烈：“迾”的假借。火迾，打猎时放火烧草，遮断野兽的逃路。具：同“俱”。 举：起。襢裼（tăntì）：脱衣袒身。暴：通“搏”。公所：君王的宫室。將（qiang1)：请，愿。狃（niu3）：反复做某事。黄：黄马。服：驾车的四马中间的两匹。襄：同“骧”，奔马抬起头。忌：作语尾助词。抑：发语词。磬控：弯腰如磬，勒马使缓行或停步。纵送：放马奔跑。鸨（bao）：有黑白杂毛的马。其色如鸨。阜：旺盛。释：打开。掤（bing3）：箭筒盖。鬯（chang4）：弓囊，此处用做动词。

The lad goes to hunt;
His shay runs amain.
The lad keeps prying front.
The tetrad dance the rein;
He searches the marshland,
And there he makes a fire.
He kills a tiger by hand
And sends it to the sire.
My dear, stop doing so
A tiger may hurt you.

The mid ones leap front;
The side ones fast follow.

He’s a great shooting hand,
His driving skill is higher.
He may keep the horse still
And let them run at will.
